Pender Island BC


Pender Island BC – is actually 2 islands connected by a one lane bridge, in the Southern Gulf Island Group off Vancouver Island. It is accessible by BC ferry from Vancouver and Victoria as well as private sail or cruise vessels. The 14 square miles of land  is populated by  2400+ residents, which ranges from ocean beaches to farmland to small mountains. The area includes several lakes, parks, hiking trails from casual to vigorous providing a range of activities to cycle, hike, golf, fish, kayak/ canoe, scuba dive, and various eco-tours to fill your day with adventure of all types. The variety of artists throughout Pender make shopping a visual and tactile experience, the Museum gives you history of the area. Bistros, cafes, pubs and restaurants are fulfilling stops, from the conventional amenities of the Driftwood Centre to the specialty items found at Bedwell Harbour and roadside vendors.

The Prior Centennial Federal Park Reserve provides the only public campsites on North Pender and MacKay Precast Products are proud to have supplied 13 new concrete picnic tables (Federal Parks style #PCI 0040) to this park in the Spring of 2014.
